SARAI VALENCIA ALARIC [NEE ADDARIO] | TWENTY | ACAEDIAN | LADY OF LEISURE | SAMANTHA BARKS | FIONN | PROBOARDS SUPPORT
| PERSONALITY | Sarai always was strong-willed. From being a young child, she knew what she wanted, and she learned quickly the best ways to get it from people. She is sly, devious, and manipulative in order that her life goes exactly as she wishes it to. When it suits her, though, she can play the quiet, demure, obedient housewife – in fact, she has been doing just that for roughly a year now, to more success than she had really expected.
| HISTORY | Sarai was born into a noble family in Acaedia, just mere moments before her little brother. Though they were twins, however, they shared very little in common. Where Sarai was obstinate and forceful, her brother was quiet and accommodating. Sarai’s hobbies were archery, equestrianism and learning to sneak around the house without getting caught; her brother’s were reading, writing, and music.
At fifteen, Sarai insisted on being paraded around every eligible bachelor’s estate, and hosting extravagant parties of her own in order to find the husband that she was convinced she deserved. No-one was good enough, rich enough, or handsome enough, until she came across Judas Alaric. Rich, intelligent, and broodingly handsome, he was perfect on paper. What she didn’t expect, though, was to have to fight for his attention. In her view, whoever she married should have been devoted to her. However, the deal that was arranged between her parents and Judas was too beneficial on everyone’s part for her to turn down. Instead of moping, though, she just played Judas at his own game, garnering attention from anywhere she saw fit, though she was always discreet; something she could not say about all of his own conquests.
Now, at twenty, she and her brother have lived on the Alaric estate for a year, and they are living exactly how she had envisioned. She has a slave, and a couple of lovers that she is getting a little sick of, but life can never be perfect. She tours parties hanging off Judas’ arm and ingratiating herself with all the important people she is introduced to, acts like a loving wife, and then in private, leaves him to his own devices as she has been directed.
| BONUS INFO | Sarai is a tall, slim brunette with porcelain skin who is partial to dark colours and flowing dresses. Everything she wears is expensive and well made, and she makes sure everyone knows it. She keeps nothing sentimental as emotions don’t really factor in her life, and she doesn’t expect that anything will change that. She doesn’t get attached to people or physical objects, and the closest she has ever come to love is probably classed more as narcissism.
